Ship Life: Cozumel, Mexico

Well, apparently we didn't take pictures on the ship before we got off this morning. We just headed straight for the port! There was some time to spare before we left for our excursion, so of course we walked around and took pictures....

After we walked around for a while, we were on to the excursion! Today's Plan: Zip Lining and beach day. Hopped in some taxis, arrived at our destination, and got strapped up for the day !

We were SO excited! We couldn't take our cameras up with us, dang it, so we only got before and after pictures. They took pictures for us, but we're cheap and didn't want to buy them. :)

This is what we climbed up to zip from one to the next. we were above the trees the whole time, and we went between 6 different towers - I like to call them tree houses - and we went around twice. The guys were really fun and joked around with us the whole time, so we made them get a picture with us afterwards!
The rest of the excursion was a beach day, which ended up being some sand behind a retaining wall against the ocean, but it was still fun. We weren't aware of this, but we ended up getting a free margarita at the resort, a towel rental, a chair, and snorkeling! Hooray for unexpected free things! As we drove to the resort, we took some pictures :)

I have no clue what this means
Here's a few pictures of snorkeling:

Katelyn and Lynsey!
This was the last picture I took on my camera before it stopped working!! :( I turned it off, turned it back on, and there was a message that said "turn off and back on"....and it won't go away. So, thankfully I got all my pictures, but I couldn't take any from this moment on. All the rest of these are Lynsey's!

After we all snorkeled, we decided to go to the Three Amigos restaurant/bar, because we got another FREE margarita!!! Wahoo! We pretty much spent the afternoon here. We saw at least 3 couples there from the ship that we had met in the hot tub, go figure!

"You want to ride my ass?" was his line
It was crazy how many people we met. We could not leave our room without running into someone we knew, or more often, that knew us. We couldn't always place where we met them, but one of us usually figured it out after a while!

So impressive.

Free margs and authentic chips & salsa!

The dreaded time came to get back on the ship, and we headed straight for the pre-dinner hot tubs! We saw some ship friends and said hi, and the three people next to them said "oh, those are the girls from Three Amigos!" What?!! We didn't meet anyone new there! Somehow we made a name for ourselves everywhere we went! There were definitely girls dancing on the bar at Three Amigos, but it wasn't us! I'm not sure why were so recognizable.  Dinner time was around the corner, so we had to head to the room and get ready...

Lynsey and Katelyn

We saw some of our ship friends, so they jumped in a picture with us!

Every night, the waiters performed a dance, and throughout the week, they kept pulling different people up to dance... This was my lucky night!

After Dinner, we went to the Punchliner. It was the comedy club on the ship, which was apparently a hit or miss. The first night we went, I was feeling very motion sick, but the comedian was pretty funny. This night, all 4 of us went, and it was TERRIBLE. The guy must have had 8 too many cocktails, because he took a long time to even start making jokes, and when he did, they were long and drawn out and not remotely funny. He would drag 1 funny comment out for 3 or 4 minutes. I couldn't believe how bad it was. There were people filtering out of the place by the bundles throughout the entire show.

They had a "deck party" on the Lido Deck that night, so after dinner we headed out there. They had a bunch of dances like the Cupid shuffle, the Electric Slide, and the Wobble... whatever that is. Apparently I am behind times, because I had no clue what it was until this trip! We didn't join the actual dance floor, but we made our own on one of the upper levels.

Sorry, for some reason I am terrible at formatting these pictures!!! They never go where they are supposed to, so it looks pretty raggedy! I'll try and fix it later :)
